Divi builder editor not getting assigned to a duplicated View’s Content Template

Symptoms

There is an issue where Divi Builder editor is not getting assigned to a duplicated View’s Content Template.

This happens when the following conditions are met:

  • Toolset Types, Views and Divi Builder plugins and Divi theme are active.
  • Create a View. use a Content Template to design the View’s output and design it using Divi.
  • Duplicate the Content Template you created.
  • Edit the duplicated Content Template.

You will get the default editor instead of the Divi builder button.

Workaround

Currently, there is no workaround for this issue.

Our developers are aware of it and will fix it as soon as possible.

One thought on Divi builder editor not getting assigned to a duplicated View’s Content Template

  • A simple workaround to make it work again is to click in the Duplicate of Content Template to “Stop using Divi Builder for this Content Template”, then again on Button “Divi Builder” in the template.
    After these procedure the Divi Builder was always loaded.
