Toolset Forms include different texts and field labels. WPML automatically registers these strings and you can translate them using String Translation.
First, you must make sure your forms are translatable.
When creating a form, make sure the Include WPML localization option is turned on.
If you created some Toolset forms before activating and setting up WPML, you have to resave them. Edit the form, make sure the Include WPML localization option is turned on and save. This will make the existing form’s strings appear for translation.
Translating Toolset forms is easy and requires only two steps:
- Use String Translation to translate the texts found in your form.
- Translate the page on which the form appears.
To translate your form’s texts, go to the WPML -> String Translation page. There, use the filter at the top to find the texts coming from your form. All texts related to Toolset Forms can be found under domains whose name starts with cred-form.
You can translate found texts directly on the String Translation page or send them for translation to your local translators or to a translation service.
Once your Toolset forms texts are translated, simply translate the page where the form appears on.
