We used Toolset to create custom post types for Concerts and Artists.

Each concert has custom fields for a time, date, venue, city, and link to buy tickets. On the other hand, each artist has additional fields for official website and other images.

We used the many-to-many relationships to relate news, artists, and concerts, content template for each content type and views to display related content, a grid of artists, coming concerts, etc.
