We used Types and Views to create a custom post type "Page Region". Page Regions are child posts of pages. Each region can be edited independently and assigned javascript animations, parallax backgrounds, video backgrounds, color backgrounds, type color, layouts. We then used Greensock and Scrollmagic to time the animations on scrolling the page. The system of child Page Regions is now extensible as we plan to add more animations and layout possibilities over time. We also used Types and Views to create a custom card layout of a "Best Practices"custom post type for our publications page, including an AJAX-based custom search and an accordion listing of upcoming jobs using a "Careers" custom post type.
