The Koegel redesign was all about search engine optimization. Given this goal, we focussed on cleaning up and enhancing their content. We utilized these content types to reorganize the site:

  • Locations
  • Articles
  • Services
  • Projects

The locations were essentially landing pages for each of their service locations. The service post type aimed to answer questions on how Koegels could help customers. Both of these were fairly static after the redesign.

The articles and projects post type allowed for fresh content. The projects had the option of tethering the services used and location of the project to the entry. This helped to cement the content with internal linking.

Notable results:

  • 66% increase in Google search traffic
  • 33% increase in new users
