KKFI 90.1 FM, a community radio station based in Kansas City, Missouri, had a single website, which provides a detailed program schedule, but with limited content and allowing only a few individuals to update the site. The station re-designed the website for the purpose of attracting more listeners and supporters. This would be accomplished by providing more timely information about radio shows, programmers/DJs, programs guests and topics, music show themes, and station activities and events. The new website would provide an easy-to-use content management system.

The website allows programmers and the Traffic Operator to promote upcoming shows on the KKFI site. The website developer selected Types and Views to build custom content types for "programmers," "programs," and "program episodes. Views were used to display the content on the site.
