Views cannot query posts whose titles contain apostrophe

Symptoms

There is an issue where Views cannot list posts if their title contains an apostrophe.

This happens if you have a View with a custom search, configured to search for posts with a title that is passed through a shortcode.

The View shortcode would be something like the following: [wpv-view name="view-by-attr" search="[wpv-post-title item="7"]"]

The problem is that if there are posts that contain apostrophe in their titles like McDonald's, they will not be shown in the View result.

Workaround

This issue has resolved with the release of Views 3.3 (Blocks 1.3).
