User password placeholder displays wrong information in subscription notification

Resolved

Reported for: Toolset Forms 1.8

Resolved in: Toolset CRED 1.8.1

Topic Tags: Toolset Forms

Symptoms

When you create a user form that creates users and set an email notification when payment is completed, %%USER_PASSWORD%% placeholder displays the lost password link, instead of the user password.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next release of Toolset CRED.

In the meantime, you can download this file, extract it and replace:

  • UserForm.php file in /plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/models/ folder.
  • Form_Builder_Helper.php file in /plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/ folder.

Please remember to keep a backup before doing this.

  • I tried it twice. There was no change. The %%USER_PASSWORD%% still says “Lost Password”. I am going to update the plugins with the latest and see if that changes anything.

  • Hi Carl,

This Mohammed, the Toolset support team leader.

I wanted to update you that the included path in this Errata is updated a few minutes ago.

Please give it another try and let me get your feedback.
