Upload fails when WordPress is installed in its own directory

Resolved

Reported for: Toolset Forms 1.8.1

Resolved in: Toolset CRED 1.8.4

Topic Tags: Toolset Forms

Symptoms

When WordPress is installed in its own directory or has a custom directory structure, uploading an image or a file fails in CRED forms.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next release of Toolset CRED.

(Note: After 1.8.3 cred update this patch must be used again)

In the meantime, you can download this file, extract it and replace the existing file in /cred-frontend-editor/embedded/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/classes folder.

Note: If you have other Toolset plugins activated, you have to replace the same file in these plugins folders as well:

  • If Toolset Types is activated, replace the file in /types/library/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/classes/ folder.
  • If Toolset Views is activated, replace the file in /wp-views/embedded/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/classes/ folder.
  • If Toolset Layouts is activated, replace the file in /layouts/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/classes/ folder.
  • If Toolset Access is activated, replace the file in /types-access/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/classes/ folder.

Please remember to keep a backup before doing this.

  • Just ran into this issue on a development project. I copied in the hotfix file but still get the NONCE error. Development environment is running on AMPPS on OS X in case that matters. I have not customized the WordPress install. It is running in a folder off the root and is setup normally with the entire site in that folder and its subfolders and WordPress home pointed there.
