Unable to adjust the limit of possible connected posts, in Migrated Post Relationships

Symptoms

When you migrate a post relationship from Types version older than 3.0 to Types version 3.0, and then edit that relationship in a way to set a “Limit” of connected posts possible, this setting will default to the maximum number of connections that were existing previous to the migration.

As soon as you edit/save that relationship’s limit setting, the value will default back to the maximum amount of connected posts existing previous to the migration.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next version of Types.

In the meantime, you can download this patch, extract it, and then upload the included files to your server, in the following manner:

• Use the operation_result.php file to overwrite the file with the same name, found in the ../types/application/models/relationship/ folder.
• Use the relationships_action.php file to overwrite the file with the same name, found in the /types/application/controllers/ajax/handler/relationships_action.php folder.
