Resolved
Reported for: Toolset Types 3.3.2
Resolved in: 3.3.4
There is an issue where custom Types Image fields do not output the alt and title attribute. This happens if you configured your WordPress installation to have a custom upload directory outside the wp-content directory.
When you try to display a custom Image field on the frontend using a Types shortcode similar to the following:
[types field='my-img' title='%%TITLE%%' alt='%%ALT%%' size='full'][/types]
The image will display fine but without the alt and title attributes.
Currently, there is no workaround for this issue.
Our developers are aware of the issue and will work on it as soon as possible.
I too have this issue on this page
https://justperfectholidays.co.uk/offers/
even though alt=’%%ALT%%’ is in the view output shortcode
so I would appreciate that a solution is worked on, thanks
This is in testing now, so it will be released in some closer future version update.
We will update this erratum once that happens.
Thanks Beda
This is now resolved.
I updated the plugins to the latest versions, Toolset Types Version 3.3.3, Toolset Views Version 2.9 , Toolset Types Version 3.3.3 but I don’t see the alt tags in the final page yet?
The latest Views version is 2.9.1 and the latest Types version is 3.3.4
Please update to the latest versions and let us know if they fixed the issue for you.
Thanks
on this page the alt field is now populated but unfortunately, it is populated with alt=”%%ALT%%” 18 times
