Toolset offers an installer that lets you update and download Toolset Components conveniently in one place.
On WordPress Networks (Multisite installations), when activating Toolset on subsites in subdomains, the installer screen’s layout is broken. It does not let you successfully update or download Toolset components. It also wrongly gives the impression that the site cannot be registered at all.
Workaround
There are currently two workarounds for this issue:
Activate and register Toolset network-wide as explained here.
Or:
Download this file, unzip it and upload it to the following Toolset Types plugin folder: types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes. Simply replace the existing file in that folder.
2 thought on Installer Screen is broken (layout messed up) in Network Subsites, wrongly suggests registration is not working and impedes updates
I also have this problem. Activate and register Toolset network-wide appeared to work and I was able to download an update, however, when trying to view the installer page for any blog afterwards it is broken.
However, using the fixed file meant I could view the Settings > Installer page without any issues whether network activated or only activated on the site in question. Please please include this fix in the next release of Types so it is not overwritten. Thanks.
Thanks for confirming the fix works Tessa. The next Types release will include the Installer update.
