Generic fields in new drag-and-drop Editor will not persist the shortcode passed as source

Symptoms

Toolset Forms offer Generic Fields and some of them (Radio, Checkboxes, Select) can be populated using a shortcode.

If you do populate such Generic Field using a (custom) shortcode and save the form, the shortcode passed in the Generic Field settings will be removed and not applied.

Workaround

There is currently no workaround except using the Expert mode in the form editor.

Please note that after switching to Expert mode, you will not be able to switch back to the drag-and-drop editor, without losing your changes.
