Empty trailing spaces in Checkboxes field labels can lead to wrong results shown in Views filtered by those fields

Symptoms

Toolset Types offers custom Checkboxes fields, which can have several Options. These Options can also have customizable Labels and Values.

If those Labels contain empty trailing spaces (a word with empty space at the end), then Views that list posts filtered (via custom search) by these custom Checkboxes fields will display all posts, instead of the filtered results.

Workaround

The only solution is to remove the empty trailing spaces in the Labels of the Checkboxes fields Options.

Hint:

It is generally not recommended to save empty spaces (or other special characters) for Meta Keys and Labels. While Toolset allows some flexibility here (controlled on Toolset -> Settings -> Front-end Content -> Support query filters by custom fields that include a space or a dot in their meta key), it does not accept special characters of this kind in Option Labels of Checkboxes fields.
