When both Types and NextGen Gallery plugins are active, and you try to edit a post which is a child of another one (Types-created post relationship) you can’t use the select box to look for existing parent posts.
Download the patch file, unpack it and then upload the functions.php file into /types/embedded/ folder replacing the file with the same name. This issue will be fixed in our next version of Types (1.9).
