Checkboxes are not working like multi-select when “only show available inputs” is selected in the advanced search settings.

Symptoms

When trying to create a custom filter for taxonomies that was using checkboxes and we also needed to hide inputs that were not available based on user choices, the unavailable inputs weren’t hidden the way they did for multi-select.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next release of Toolset Views.

In the meantime, download this file, extract it and replace:

• wpv-filter-category-embedded.php in the /wp-views/embedded/inc/filters folder
