“Added To Cart” Success Message is not displayed on Content Templates styling products

Symptoms

If you insert the wpv-add-to-cart-message shortcode into a Content Template, it will not display the usual success message (“Item added to cart – visit cart”) when you add a Product to your cart.

This happens on single Product pages only if you use a Content Template to design them.

Workaround

This issue does not happen with templates created using Toolset Layouts. Hence, instead of using Content Templates, create a template layout to your single Products, and insert the wpv-add-to-cart-message shortcode into a Visual Editor cell, for example.
