Resolved in: Toolset WC Blocks 3.0
The default WooCommerce behaviour is for the “Add to Cart” button to instead display “Read More” and link to the single product post when that product is out of stock.
The same is expected when creating custom product archives with Toolset, but since the 2.9 update (that saw the plugin renamed to Toolset WooCommerce Blocks) it has stopped working. The button does link to the single product post, but it still displays the Add to Cart text even though the product is out of stock.

I think this issue is already there for quite some time. Since the above also means that the translation won’t work (it shows ‘ Add to cart’ regardless of the language used on my website) I would like to see this fixed asap. Thanks, best regards Robbert
We are just entering a new development cycle, which is focused on enhancements to WooCommerce compatibility, and this will be fixed as part of that. If when it is fixed it is possible to provide a patch, we’ll edit this post to provide details.
It’s completely crazy that this issue still has not been solved. It’s a major bug and my client is killing me because of it.
This is the final week of this dev cycle, and following testing the plugin updates should be available by the end of the month, which will include the fix for this issue.
