Problem:
The customer reported that after switching to PHP 8, the cropping of images from Toolset image fields doesn't work.
Solution:
Guided that this issue is already reported and a fix is planned to be covered in the next release of Toolset Types (3.4.17).
Meanwhile, a patch is available for a fix at the erratum page.
