link image to slider lightbox

The customer asked if it is possible to create a slider gallery with Toolset that shows the main image on top and also shows images in the lightbox.

Solution:

Explained that Toolset's slider block offers both these requirements, individually, but not together, so it will require a third-party slider/gallery plugin.

Hi there,
Tell us what you are trying to do?
I was wondering if it will be possible to link an image to a slider lightbox, so the slider opens in the lightbox.

What would be ideal is:
* Using the image slider
* Slider style: image list, opening to a lightbox
* Adding a standard image block (f.a. featured image) above the slider and link it to the lightbox.
* The images in the slider are loaded from a dynamic source

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hi Peter,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The way Toolset's "Image Slider" block works, it can either:

a). show the image thumbnails slider that opens images in a lightbox
or
b). it can show the image thumbnail slider with the large image preview on top, but without the lightbox.

I'm afraid, combing both these requirements is not supported and for a slider like this, you can consider using a third-party slider plugin.
