Migrating WP site from to mySQL to Postgres?

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Is there any reason why I could not use Postgresql as my WordPress foundational database from Toolset's perspective? I have a number of reasons to consolidate into one DB (e.g. mySQL and Postgres) and it would be helpful to know if there was any challenges from your perspective. Thanks!
