We need to have a way to place the map in a different place than just the top or the bottom of the view.

We tried following the instructions on this support ticket but cannot get the map markers to show on the map.

This is very similar to how we would like to have our page look:

How to get this view?

Hello,

You need to follow our document to setup the map shortcode + marker shortcode
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/maps/maps-shortcodes/#wpv-map-marker
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/maps/maps-shortcodes/#wpv-map

And make sure both map shortcode and marker shortcode are using same "map_id" attribute
