[Résolu] Transferring a custom post type and content

Ce fil est résolu. Voici une description du problème et la solution proposée.

Problem:
How to transfer a custom post type and a View to display it to another site, including the content itself?

Solution:
You would export the settings for Types and Views at Toolset > Export / Import and then import those in the new site, and the standard WP tools to export then import the content for that post type using Tools > Export and Tools > Import.

Hello, Is is possible transfer a custom post type including the view and content to another site?

I found this guide - https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/exporting-and-importing-toolset-components-and-settings/

But it mentions that it does not transfer the content itself.

Just want to confirm if there is a way to transfer a whole custom post type with all its functionality and content to another site.

Hi there

You would use the Toolset Export / Import functionality to transfer the Types and Views settings and structures.

For the data, you can use the standard WordPress export/import functionality (under Tools > Export and Tools > Import) to copy across the posts and meta data.

The only problem I found when doing that is where I had hierarchical taxonomies, the imported taxonomy terms were flat and I had to set up the parent terms manually.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
