I found various threads about having a "recurring event/dates" with Types, but I dont see any improvement on the subject.

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/recurring-event/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/creating-repeating-date-events/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/field-for-recurring-events-dates/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/recurring-event-system-using-types-and-views/

Is there any update from the development team?
Since several people asked for this, it would be nice for this feature to be considered.... havent seen truly new features on Types for a long time now unfortunately.

Is there any chance a thread for this could be left open, in order to avoid having to duplicate the same request over and over?

Thanks!

Hi Sanny

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately, there are no news regarding this. Events, and specially recurring events, are a quite complex thing, which demand things like repetition, start/end dates and times, even place management and whatnot. For the current time, I would recommend using a specific plugin for this, since the Types field are a little more generic than that.

Anyway, this is still in our to-do list and we will evaluate, at some point, whether this can be added, and how.

There is no need to leave this ticket open, once we noted it down. We do not usually make updates on feature requests as the plan to add them might change without prior notice and things get delayed.

I am sorry that you feel that Types did not get any big thing lately. There were some , but they were mor focused on integration with other Toolset plugins and changes under the hood that improved the code by some degrees.

Hope it helps.

Rgards.
