Hi there

As it states in the ticket you linked to, it is scheduled to be removed in CRED 2.0 (due in a few weeks time).

Currently it is not possible to disable it.

I have left a comment in the internal ticket to see if it can be brought forward to a CRED update that will include a number of bug fixes before then. I don't know now whether it will, but in any case it will be removed in a matter of weeks.
