On our German page: lien caché the View filter behaves incorrectly on initial page load:

- The page loads empty DE categories (no results)
- The taxonomy filter (event-category) shows Dutch (NL) terms as well as German (DE)

However:

1. When selecting a German category (e.g. Unternehmen der Wohnungswirtschaft), results appear correctly
2. After that, clicking “Alle” (All) shows the correct results and only German taxonomy terms

So the issue only occurs on initial load, not after AJAX refresh.

Working reference:
On the default language page everything works correctly:

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

It seems you did not translated the Event Categories correctly.

I can see English translation is missing if I'm not wrong.

Will adding the English translation fixed the issue on lien caché ? it seems unrelated to me, but maybe I'm wrong 🙂

Can you please try to translate the taxonomy terms as per the Doc and then try to save your original post and check if that helps:

Hi Minesh,

If I follow your link I assume translation is already done correctly (see screenshot).
Or am I missing something?

Thanks for your help!
Marc

I can see the plus sign with English language and I thing for that translation is missing.

We're not using Events on the English part of the website and the issue is on DE (lien caché).

Or is it necessary to translate all items (even if we don't use them), in order for the issue to be solved?

Hi,

This is Christopher taking over this ticket. I checked the taxonomies, and what I found was that the Taxonomy labels and slugs were not translated.

I made sure that those are translated.

Now would you please check the Events page in German? It is not empty and shows content, and also the top filters seem to be German and not Dutch.

Thanks.

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately it's still not working correct. In screenshot 1, you see a Dutch (NL) taxonomy and an empty German (DE) taxonomy. Both shouldn't be there.

And after clicking on one of the filters and then clicking on 'All' again, we get the correct result (screenshot 2) that we also expect to see on load.

I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi thanks,

I checked, and even the original language has not filters working correctly when it comes to the Ajax loading. Ig does not filter the content correctly.

This needs to be checked, please provide with the copy if the website and give us the login information so we can check by deactivating other plugins and do troubleshooting.

Thanks.
