I understand that but lot of things change over the time and we have to accept the fact and take the best option that does work and do not break in future. I'm not sure why its working and who assisted you to build this archive in the past and how long time ago. I've offered you the best workaround.

I do not have any news on Kadence integration and as the Kadence team mentioned as per their response, it does not looks like they are super interested of Toolset integration rather they are forcing you to migrate to their own platform.
