Tell us what you are trying to do?
Fix the issue on javascript call error causing timeout issue on pages using Toolset

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?
We reached out to our hosting (Flywheel) due to a timeout issue on the delivery pages using Toolset and this their response:

When attempting to interact with the gallery, it appears that there's a Javascript issue at play. We're seeing this "Maximum Call Stack Size Exceeded" error over and over, attempting to call certain files repeatedly, ending in a loop: lien caché

We believe this is an issue with the Toolset Views plugin, as the XMLHttpRequest is coming from that plugin in particular. I'm not sure if this plugin is still supported by Toolset, as it looks like it's been absorbed into a different offering of theirs. We recommend reaching out to Toolset to see if they have any fix for this repeated call/JS error.

What is the link to your site?

Hi there

I visited the links to your site and while I can see an error when clicking on the slider, I don't see the errors from the screenshot you shared. lightbox-plus-jquery.js isn't a file shipped with Toolset, and I'm wondering if there is an issue arising from another plugin.

Can we get your debug info? (lien caché)

Does the problem occur on a minimal install, i.e. with all plugins except Toolset disabled, and after switching to a default theme such as twentytwentyone? (It would be helpful to have a staging site to test this.)

We will try a minimal install on staging and see how it is. Thank you

Hi there,

Thank you. For more detailed steps on minimal installation test in staging:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except Toolset and Toolset add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.
