Hello Toolset Support Team,

I would like to know if it is possible to import BibTeX files into a form in an application built with Toolset in WordPress.

Specifically, we would like to upload a BibTeX file and automatically populate form fields with the metadata contained in the file (such as title, authors, year, journal, etc.).

As an example, you can find a BibTeX entry in the following article:

Our goal would be to extract the BibTeX information and map it to the corresponding fields in a Toolset form.

Could you please let us know:

If Toolset supports importing or parsing BibTeX files directly in forms.

If there is a recommended workflow (custom code, hooks, or integration) to achieve this.

Whether there are any existing plugins or integrations compatible with Toolset for this purpose.

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support. There is no such thing as file parsing in Toolset, and I am not familiar with a third party plkugin that can do the thing you want.

It is possible to upload a file via the Toolset form, but parsing the file and performing an action after that is not supported by Toolset.
