Even though comments are disabled in the WordPress settings, when I add a new post to my CPT, comments are open. How can I close comments by default?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To disable the comment for specific post type you can edit your desired post type from:
=> Toolset => Post Types => Edit your desired post type
=> Locate the section "Sections to display when editing"
=> make sure to uncheck the checkbox "Comments" and save your post type

This was probably a setting in Fluent Forms Pro, which we use as the front-end form to publish posts.
