Filter archive results like in a search view

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'd like to allow users to filter the archives the same way they can filter search results.

My website hosts academic texts. They're categorised, have keywords, etc. I'd like the users to be able to open a category, see all texts in that category, and then also filter them down by publication year, language, or other filters. I can set this up easily in a search view, but I don't see how to do it in an archive view.

First of all, I would like to know, are you using block based archive or legacy archive? and the archive you are creating is a post type archive or taxonomy archive?
