Excerpt cannot be altered via filter

This support ticket is created Il y a 4 years, 3 months. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: alter the excerpt using a plugin. The plugin works on other sites and it works before using toolset to display taxonomy archives.

I expected to see: a different excerpt for each post

Instead, I got: the same excerpt for each loop item

Hi there,

It might be the fact that the plugin which you use does not filter excerpts through standard WordPress means and maybe there is a conflict with Toolset.

Would you please test by deactivating the plugin in question and tell us if the excerpt work ok?

If yes, then it is a conflict with the plugin in question.
