Duplicate sub-category names of different parents

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

Have a taxonomy structure for custom posts like this:

custom-category/free
custom-category2/free

Real case example:

/Cars/Ford
/Cars/Mercedes
/Vans/Ford

When I try to create the 2nd "free" or "Ford" sub-category WordPress is trying to re-write to make it unique despite being the child of a different category.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
