When creating a CRED field, there is no way to pull out the "description" value without making modifications to the source code. They show up on the backend fields which I understand it's what's intended, but they are really needed optionally on the frontend as well. This issue has been opened several times but they keep getting closed and new ones get added because there is no real resolution besides editing the source code. I don't understand why this is not exposed as a native title attribute which is an out-of-the-box global attribute that can be added to "input" elements and get native tooltips for free from the browser, and can be further modified via CSS if needed: lien caché
Please consider again to resolve this often repeated issue that keeps popping up; exposing the field description on the frontend is very much needed without hacks. I'm hoping to keep this issue opened until it is truly resolved. For reference, below are the related issues:
