I have disabled the use of the Media Library Manager when uploading images on the frontend by unchecking the "Use the WordPress Media Library manager for image, video, audio, or file fields " box on the relevant forms. Up to Forms 2.6.9, an image upload field showed a "browse" button inside a form field and this worked just fine. Having updated to 2.6.10, this has been replaced with an "Upload or Select" button which takes the user to the Media Library to upload their images. This shouldn't happen since I've disabled this on my forms.

I've tried enabling the Media Library Manager, saving the form then disabling it again but this hasn't had any effect.

Are you able to replicate this?

That's a known issue introduced in the latest Forms update: https://toolset.com/errata/form-settings-for-add-media-button-and-use-of-wp-media-library-broken-in-2-6-10/

We should expect a fix available before too long, as the developers a number of issues that arose with the recent releases and prepare hotfixes.

I suggest you subscribe to that erratum which will be updated as soon as a fix (or a patch) becomes available.

Thanks Nigel (issue wasn't shown above search results but then I didn't remember to follow the 'known issues link'!)

Sorry Nigel; how do I subscribe to the erratum so I'm alerted when a fix is available? Should there be a button somewhere on the erratum page or do you mean RSS Feed (I can only see a comment form)?
