Make relationships between users and posts

Problem:
Types supports post relationships to connect different posts with each other, and the client would like to be able to include users in relationships.

Solution:
That is currently not possible but will be added in an update to Types 3.0.

We are likely to drop plans to add support for relationships between users and posts, as we envisage an alternative that will work well for membership sites etc.

WordPress is very good at displaying posts (with templates for individual posts and for archives of posts, and we already support substantial functionality built on top of posts, including post relationships, custom searches etc.), but it is not very good at displaying users.

Our intention is to create a mechanism to automatically generate "profile" posts for users and to keep them in sync, and these profile posts can then be the basis for displaying membership profiles, connecting to other posts, searching membership directories etc.
