I have a production site for a client with a one to many relationship type. With a certain (not huge) amount of records. I would need change the relationship to a many-to-many relationship type. Is it possible without breaking the existing data structure?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I'm not sure yet have you created those relationship recently in last four-five years or its legacy post relationship.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
In any case - I strongly suggest before taking any step forward you should take full backup of your database as in any worst situation you will have a backup to restore.

Once you take full backup of your database - try to edit your post-relationship and change it to "Many to Many" and try to save it and check if you able to see it working as expected.
