When creating a new post, I expect to see 10 custom fields, but I don't see any; it only happens when I try to create a new custom post for "all Fiction" All the other custom posts work perfectly, and they all use the same 10 extra fields. I have attached a couple of images to show what I mean. If you require access I will set you up with a login
Thanks Les
Hi,
Welcome to Toolset Support. Could you please test the issue by following the steps below?
- IMPORTANT: Create a backup of your website. An even better approach would be to perform this test on a copy or staging version of the website to avoid disrupting the live site.
- Switch to a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty, by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes."
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except:
- Toolset Types
- Toolset Blocks
- Check whether you can still reproduce the issue.
- If not, reactivate the plugins one at a time and check for the issue after activating each one to identify the plugin causing the problem.
If the issue persists, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.
Make sure you set the next reply as private.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thank you for the login information. Would you please check the video below?

Video Summary
- The All Fiction custom fields were tested and appear to work correctly.
- The additional fields are visible on older All Fiction posts.
- If the fields are hidden, open the Metaboxes option to display them.
- The fields also appear correctly when creating a new All Fiction entry.
- The field group is properly assigned to the All Fiction custom post type.
- Pages named All Fiction or None Fiction will not display these fields.
- Those items are regular pages rather than All Fiction posts.
- Please provide a specific All Fiction post where the custom fields are missing.
Thanks.
Hi Christopher, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but someone damaged the NBN line in our street, and I was without the internet for a couple of days. I tried opening the Metaboxes option to display them. But that didn't work. I know it doesn't work on pages, but I was o nly working on posts. I have created a video for you to show you what I was doing here is a link to it
