[Résolu] Adding custom fields?

Hello and thanks– I am a very experienced web developer– but can't seem to find out how to properly add a custom field to a custom post type?

I have created a new post type: Videos.
I have created a new Field Group: Field Group for Videos.
I have created a new custom field: Video Embed, and added it to Field Group for Videos.

However, when I go to add a new Video, I don't see either my Field Group, or my Video Embed field, to add content to it?

Hi Chris

It looks like you have set up everything correctly, but the custom fields meta box is missing from the post edit screen when editing a Video post. That's not right, and you are not doing anything wrong.

We have one edge-case issue involving the GiveWP plugin preventing the custom fields meta box being shown in certain circumstances, I don't see what plugins you have installed to know if that could be the case here.

(If you share your debug info we'll have an idea of your set-up: lien caché.)

So the first thing I would do is check if the problem persists when you disable non-Toolset plugins. If not then you should be able to determine the source of any conflict by a process of elimination.

Please check these in your website:
1) It might be a cache issue, if you are using other cache plugins, please try to clear cache of those plugins, and test again.
2) When you edit a video post, check if your custom field group "Field Group for Videos" is enabled in "Screen Options" setting:
