Add an attribute to multiple instances of custom post type

This support ticket is created Il y a 1 year, 6 months. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I need a hint.
I created a gallery custom post type containing multiple instances of photos and youtube videos as custom fields.
I'd like to add a custom caption to each instance (for each video, for each photo).
I could over-ride the problem adding a caption on the media gallery for photos... but it's quite unconvenient. For videos... I cannot do that.
Ideally I could add a custom attribute to each custom field. But couldn't find a way.
