Hi,

Norman helped me with a different problem on saving a date to a types CPT date field. Now I have
a similar problem but now it is the user uploaded image. I found a way to display the pic that the user uploaded but it is not a general solution like Norman provided before.

Right now I am mapping the user upload file (Formidable Forms) to the _thumbnail_id featured image. this works (see cpt-output-grid).

I would rather have a better solution like Norman provided with the date field, maybe a snippet could do the mapping of the image uploaded and save it in wpcf_picture (sized to 350x235).

Hope this makes sense... I am not a programmer ????

Thanks
Mel Fisher

Hi, I'm not quite sure I understand what you would like to accomplish.
1. You mentioned that you would like a "better solution". Can you explain in more detail why the current solution is undesirable? What are you trying to improve by using Toolset? How is the output for this image generated? Can you share the Toolset shortcode you are using?
2. You mentioned that you would like to capture the uploaded image and save it in a Toolset custom field, in a particular image size. The Toolset field that displays custom images includes options for you to specify the output dimensions, so I don't think resizing the image will be necessary - unless there is another reason I'm not aware of. More information about that:

Thank you I used a other plugin to resize images auto.
