I am using Beaver Builder with Toolset, and have been told by Beaver Builder support that this is a know issue, and Toolset is working on it.

I am trying to: change a category of a custom post type, and when I save it, it just removes it and displays ALL cpt's. Not allowing me to add a category

This is the second time I have had the issue. The first time I deactivated the toolset plugin, made my changes to a standard post, and then reactivated. But, this time it is with a custom post type created with Toolset, so I cannot do this.

As you can see from my screenshot, I can add the category, but upon saving it just clears out the field, and displays all of that cpt.

Are there any work arounds while you are fixing the issue?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Yes - this is known issue to us and we already fixed the issue and the release is around the corner that you can expect it early next week.

If you are ready to wait you can wait otherwise you will have to use the Beaver Builder hook using which you can modify the query.

Basedo on the screenshot you shared I see you are usinng powerpack grid - it seems to be addon Beaver Builder module, if yes, you can check with the Powerpack Builder plugin support what hook you can use in order to filter the posts based on the taxonomy term for the powerpack grid module.
