I have a bunch of category filters on my view and I also need to include a post year on there. Is there a built in way or do you have a doc explaining how to get the Post date as a views Filter?

Hi Nicholas,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to have the year as a filterable field, you must have a corresponding year custom field on the backend. So on the posts themselves you should also have a field where the user can select the year.

The reason is because if you have a datepicker then you're not able to filter by the year only but rather you must filter by the entire date itself.

Please let me know if this clarifies the situation for you.
Thanks,
Shane
