Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Are these sliders showing images from a custom field?

Or sliders iterating over posts (each of which has an image)?

If the former, there is no option for modifying the order of the slides, they are shown in the order of the entries in wp_postmeta for the custom field.

If the latter, then such a slider is generated with a paginated View (showing one "slide" or post at a time), and you can specify the ordering of the View, including random order.
