Tell us what you are trying to do?

I'm using Toolset and elementor. I created a contact form using an elementor popup page that takes elements of the page from toolset custom fields and also integrates a contact form.

I want the form to be sent to an address from the toolset custom fields, but I can't do it directly, I need a short code to enter in the "to" field of the elementor form.

What is the link to your site?

Hi Jean,

Thank you for getting in touch. If the elementor "TO:" field accepts shortcodes then you can use the following.

[types field='my-field'][/types]

Where you will replace 'my-field' with the slug of your actual email field.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your reply, but it didn't work. I put as suggested the code "[typesfield='e-mail'][types]" in the "to" field of the form, with "e-mail" being the slug, but the form still displays an error.

I have installed the Post SMTP plugin to check the origin of the problem, and it shows me as an error the mail address .... as an attachment.

Thanks,

Jean

Hi Jean,

It would appear that Elementor doesn't accept shortcodes as a valid input.

You will need to get in touch with the elementor support team to see if they have a hook at that can be used to retrieve the value from the database.

Thanks,
Shane
