This is a WooCommerce site, with photographs being the products. Some of the photos are available in difference sizes, frames, etc., so I want those to be Variable Products. Each photograph has individual attributes, so I'd like to use generic labels for the variations, such as Variation 1, Variation 2, Variation 3, etc. and then have unique descriptions of each resulting product attribute. This all works well except that the drop-down lists the attribute titles ("Variation 1", "Variation 2", "Variation 3") and what I really need is to display the particular attribute descriptions instead. Take a look at lien caché - if you pick a particular Variations option, say 'Variation 1', then the appropriate description "The 20€ variation" appears, along with the associated price. Is there any way for the descriptions to display _instead_ of the attribute label?
My issue isn't resolved - my client just changed his mind about how he wants to handle variations...
