How to have an empty value in select box

Set default for value for search field.

Solution:

When you are adding the fields to your views search you should have the option to set the default values.

I have a view called Master Home Page Search

There are four drop down menus left to right that filter results. The issue is that the dropdown for Document Type is defaulting to Court decision but it should be blank when someone first lands on the page or presses the reset button.

Also, in the drop down, some of the options have an extra slash in them, for example Plaintiff\'s pleadings
