If you take a look at this site:
lien caché

You can see that the available list of drop down options (Models) is dependent upon the selection of the first field (Make)
lien caché

I am trying to imagine how this could be achieved within ToolSet, using a "Parent / Child" category relationship.

Can you advise?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - as I understand, you need dependent dropdown so that if you select one option from the first dropdown it will display the associated options with the second drop-down. If this is true - there is no such native option available using which you can construct dependent drop-down using parent/child taxonomy.

There is a way using which you can construct/dispaly dependent dropdown using views but it works based on the post type. You can check the example at:
=> lien caché
[ check the "State" and "City" dropdowns]

To know more and learn about how the "State" and "City" drop-down setup, You can register test site on discover-wp.com to review how its setup and play with it. It’s totally free.
