Hi there
You can create arbitrary links in a Custom HTML block (if you are using the block editor) or in a classic editor by providing the markup for the link yourself, with the relevant URL.
In the screenshot from my test site, I have a "priority" taxonomy and want to link to the "high" term, which has a URL like site.com/priority/high/.
In that case I just use a relative link (relative to the site home page), but you may find you need to use the full URL.
You can also add such a URL to the link section of a button block, for example.
Great, but I have lets say 5 Properties in the Italy Category, how can I link to a page that shows all five. The Divi Module allows me to link to a certain post but how can i get to a page that only shows the properties in the Italy Category?
If I understood it correctly, you have the post type 'Property', and a custom taxonomy 'Country', right? Under this taxonomy 'Country', there is the 'Italy' term. You should be able to have the properties listed in the Italy category on a link like this: yoursite.com/countries/italy.
Or this is not exactly what you meant? If not, could you please clarify it a bit more? Also, to check it better, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: lien caché
Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.
