I'm getting this error "We could not connect to the Google Maps autocomplete service, but you can add an address manually." when editing a post via Toolset Forms on the front end but only when the address isn't a street address (for example if it is a city or state) or if the location is just based on the lat long.
This is an issue because if I try to edit the post and set a specific location I am un able to do so. Here is a video explaining and showing what is happening: lien caché
Hi, I was just working in a local test site, and I was not able to reproduce the same problem with a custom address field set to use the address "Ogden, UT, USA". The address is mapped successfully with a marker, as expected (screenshot attached). Let's try two things:
- Use the "Check API" feature in settings to verify that all the necessary Google Maps API services are active for the account keys you are using on this site. Please go to Toolset > Settings > Maps tab and click the "Check API" button for confirmation. In a few moments you should receive a response from the API that everything is set up correctly. If not, that indicates one or more required APIs are not active for this API key / Site combination in the Google developer console. We can take a closer look if that is the case. Toolset Maps features will appear to work in some cases but not others.
- On the same Toolset > Settings > Maps tab, click the button to load cached maps addresses. Are any addresses shown in the table? Is Ogden, UT, USA one of these cached addresses?
